Patrick Lavin

Patrick Lavin is former chairman of the Tucson Roscommon Sister Cities.  He was born in County Roscommon, Ireland.  He immigrated  to the United States in 1960 where he has lived in California, Maryland, and presently Arizona.  Patrick is retired from service with the United States Government.  He is also a published author.  His published works include:

Richard Cosgrove

Richard Cosgrove is Secretary of Tucson-Roscommon Sister Cities. Richard Cosgrove was a member of the history department at the University of Arizona from 1967 to 2003.  At the time of his retirement he was head of the department and University Distinguished Professor.  During his service he taught courses in British and Irish history.  Forebears on his father’s side came from county Armagh in the eighteenth century and on his mother’s side from county Mayo in the nineteenth century.  He was born and raised in Jersey City, New Jersey and settled in Tucson in 1967.
